About me

Hi! I'm Elluz

I'm a teacher of Spanish for foreigners, from the strangest and most authentic place in South America: Venezuela. A diversity of landscapes and cultures that I love sharing with my students — so they don't just see what's described from afar, but truly know the reality of its people.

With more than 5 years teaching this beautiful language, I'm not only a Spanish teacher — I'm also a Civil Engineer. These two professions have allowed me to make difficult things easy, to create different ways of learning the language. Forget stressful, complicated lessons: come and have fun while you learn.

I live in Mérida, in the Venezuelan Andes. Here is the highest cable car in the world, beautiful mountains, lagoons, and so much more. I'll tell you all about it in class.

Frequently asked questions

What people ask before starting

Do I need any prior knowledge to start?
No. I take students from absolute beginner to C2. In the trial class we evaluate your level and build a plan tailored to you.
What are the online classes like?
Via video call (Zoom or Google Meet, your choice), 60 minutes, one-on-one. You set the pace. We work with real materials, not boring textbooks.
What payment methods do you accept?
PayPal, Binance Pay and USD account transfer. We coordinate the most convenient method with you. I'll ask for proof and activate your package in less than 24 hours.
Can I cancel or reschedule a class?
Yes, up to 12 hours before at no cost. Cancellations with less than 12h are deducted from the package (it's to respect both our time).
What language do you teach in?
100% in Spanish from day one (immersion method). If you're a complete beginner, I can occasionally support in basic English.
How do we schedule the classes?
After your purchase, we coordinate timing via WhatsApp or Telegram. Your package has classes that you book whenever suits you.
Will I get a certificate at the end?
Yes, when you complete a package I issue a digital certificate with the level worked and hours studied. If you want to prepare for DELE or SIELE exams, we can focus on that.
Are there refunds?
If after your first paid class you're not satisfied, I refund 100%. After that, packages are non-refundable but transferable.
